THE BEGINNING
Born from a Vision
Aurum—Latin for gold—was conceived as more than a restaurant. It was envisioned as a place where every element would be touched by the alchemy of human creativity and care, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.
In 2015, Chef Marcus Laurent partnered with architect Tadao Ando to bring this vision to life. Together, they created a space where light, material, and cuisine could engage in conversation—where guests would not merely dine, but experience a journey.
Today, Aurum spans three continents, yet each location maintains the intimate spirit of that original vision: a sanctuary for those who seek not just exceptional food, but moments of genuine transcendence.
